Why PoignETS

©2026

A watch is one of the few objects where you can design, machine, assemble and measure a whole mechanism, then wear it every day.

PoignETS starts from a simple idea: ÉTS students already have the skills to design and make a watch. What a project like that needs is a place to work, machine time, and a team to see it through to the end.

The club starts with commercial movements, so the effort goes where the engineering shows: the case, the dial, the strap and the clasp. Each year, a club watch brings that work together.
